Improve Organizational Practices and Culture

The program consists of 17 courses worth a total of 54 credits. It combines flexibility with collaboration through weekly face-to-face classes held on Zoom, interactive assignments, and the option to attend in-person immersions each spring, as well as the three-semester capstone experience.

The curriculum explores topics critical to organizational leadership — including improvement science, change leadership, human-centered design, equitable and inclusive practice and research methodology — all the while teaching you how to apply classroom lessons in your professional role.

  • Create an inclusive and diverse organizational culture
  • Understand organizational structure and sources of power
  • Collect, analyze and use data to inform decision-making

This program prepares graduates for a variety of organizational roles across multiple industries — such as working with HR to develop talent and support employees, implementing new systems and practices to achieve greater efficiencies as a management consultant, or high-level leadership in private companies and nonprofit organizations.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet with a career coach, access online resources, attend in-person and online career events, and create invaluable connections within the UNC-Chapel Hill alumni community.

This program does not lead to licensure.
